Hale Leys Utd 3  Totternhoe First Team 4

Totternhoe came up against Utd for the third time this season, having recently beat them in the semi final of the divisional cup. Utd started the game the brighter and put Totternhoe under pressure from the first minute. Totternhoe did have a period in the first ten, fifteen minutes but then Utd took the lead but could of quite easily have added more goals but for the outstanding Gary Duncan in the Totternhoe goal. Totternhoe came under untold pressure but held out through some sterling defending. Totternhoe equalised through the evergreen Gary Simpson after some great work down the left wing through Randall putting the cross into the box for Simpson to get on at the near post. Totternhoe had to reshuffle the back line when Lauder had to be replaced just before half time through injury. The half time whistle came and Totternhoe were still lucky to be in the game at 1-1. After some stern words at half time and Totternhoe replacing Tracy with Aiden Murray, they started the second half and burst into a  3-1 lead when Simpson got his second from a Hutchings corner and Millard smashed one in from 25 yards. Totternhoe had to reshuffle again when Millard got injured and had to be replaced by 16 Johny Clark who smashed a striking for his first senior goal, to put Totternhoe 4-1 up. Totternhoe now in total control threatened to run riot, but credit to Utd they came back to score two late goals and leave Totternhoe holding on for the win. The managment were pleased with the performance in patches but know things will have to improve drastically for the last two games of the season if they are to get anything from it.
